Axonius came to Kickstand with two key objectives: 1) elevating its overall media profile, and 2) raising awareness of the importance of asset management in cybersecurity.

Our Approach

Kickstand worked with Axonius and Enterprise Strategy Group (ESG) to develop a data report on the state of asset management in the enterprise. Looking at the primary challenges facing both IT and security teams from an asset management perspective, the study enabled us to better connect with Axonius’ core customer base, drive more active problem recognition, and elevate key pain points within target media. The study allowed Kickstand to sustain momentum following two key funding announcements within a year. 


The study resulted in more than fifteen pieces of targeted media coverage in publications including Dark Reading, BetaNews and Infosecurity Magazine, as well as multiple bylines in outlets like Computer Weekly, Security Boulevard and CISO Magazine. Combined with other program elements including ongoing proactive and reactive media relations, Kickstand ultimately increased Axonius’ competitive share of voice by 27%.
